Samsung eyes on 75% 5G smartphone market in India, company’s mobile business increased by 20%

New Delhi: Samsung has recently launched two Galaxy A series smartphones which include Galaxy A14 5G and Galaxy A23 5G in India. Both these phones have been introduced for those looking for the best performance in the budget range category. With its launch, Samsung has said that it will capture 75% of the Indian smartphone consumer market this year with its 5G device portfolio. The company said that India would be its first destination for 5G.

Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Mobile Business, at Samsung India, said in a statement that this year, “Samsung will launch a wide distribution of its 5G smartphones in the country with the aim of achieving 75 percent sales through the launch of 5G phones only, as well as other 5G devices”. Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is priced at Rs 16,499 for 64 GB storage with 4 GB RAM, Rs 18,999 for 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, and Rs 20,999 for 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage. The price of Galaxy A23 5G is Rs 24,999 for 8 GB RAM with 128 GB storage, while the price of 128 GB storage with 6 GB RAM is Rs 22,999.
